Optiform acknowledges the important role of advocates (including independent advocates) and other representatives of people with disability.
How Optiform provides Advocacy
Optiform is committed to providing advocacy for participants in order to ensure they receive the best possible support available to them. Optiform clinicians provide advocacy in many ways such as;
- Writing supporting documents for NDIS applications / reviews
- Providing evidence of disability according to research
- Discussing participant needs with Local Area Coordinators/Support Coordinators.
Professional Advocacy services
When additional advocacy is required, Optiform assists participants to seek further support from professional disability advocates.
