For the past several years, Emmy worked as a Speech Pathologist in a large Melbourne hospital treating adults with a range of communication and swallowing impairments following stroke, traumatic brain injury, or secondary to neurodegenerative disorders (eg: Parkinson’s disease, dementia). Prior to this, Emmy spent some time working with children with autism spectrum disorder in early intervention services. Over the course of her career Emmy has developed a special interest in voice disorders, aphasia, autism and early intervention.
